Founder Matt Downing has worked in design and construction for most of his lifetime. Working with homeowners and businesses all across the east coast, he started transforming homes and offices into the homes and offices of his clients dreams.

Craftsman Reclaimed started with an idea to make unique rustic furniture from quality woods. In 2010 Matt started his journey to identify and source beautiful and durable woods to make rustic furniture. Having grown up in North Carolina near many farms and studying old barns, he knew the barnwood would make some very special furniture. Along with local and exotic woods, he has been able to create one of a kind pieces in many different styles.

Craftsman Reclaimed Design/Build provides a full-service that includes kitchen and bath design and remodel, carpentry work, and electrical and plumbing work.
